Meet our experts, Joanna and Marnie

Joanna and Marnie are our resident gut health experts, with qualifications in nutrition and diet. As accredited practising dietitians and nutritionists, they are experts in the relationship between diet and disease, providing professional evidence-based advice to complement medical intervention and support patients in managing their condition.

Joanna Baker – Master of Dietetics | Grad Cert Nutrition | Bachelor of Health Science

Everyday Nutrition founder and accredited practising dietitian Joanna Baker has suffered with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and food intolerance, so she knows first hand what it’s like to live with unpredictable gut upsets and dietary restrictions. 

With over 20 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting, Joanna established Everyday Nutrition in 2012, with the goal of helping people learn to nourish their body with healthy food that is easy to prepare and helps them feel great inside and out.

 

 

 

Marnie Nitschke – Master of Dietetics | Bachelor of Science (Nutrition)

Marnie is an experienced dietitian and accredited nutritionist with a passion for gut health. She has a strong history in nutrition consulting, corporate health promotion, and clinical dietetics, and is an accomplished nutrition writer and presenter.

With a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and Master of Dietetics, Marnie specialises in the management of coeliac disease, IBS, low FODMAP diet and food intolerance, helping clients with individualised and practical advice to achieve the best health outcomes.

Outside of their direct practice, Joanna and Marnie are passionate advocates, communicators and educators in the fields of gut health, nutrition and wellness.
